Mature Access Course

Mature Access Course is a preparatory program designed for individuals aged 25 years and above who wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree but lack the conventional entry qualifications. The course bridges educational gaps by equipping mature learners with foundational academic skills essential for success at the tertiary level.

The curriculum focuses on Basic Mathematics, English and Aptitude Test. Delivered by experienced instructors in a supportive, adult-friendly environment, the program builds confidence and academic competence. Upon successful completion, students gain the necessary eligibility to transition into their chosen degree program.

ADMISSION REquirements

  • The applicant must be at least 25 years old at the time of application.
  • Proof of age must be provided through a birth certificate or any other legitimate documentary evidence.
  • Must have working experience in the relevant discipline.

  • SSSCE: At least E in six (6) subjects, three (3) core subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
  • WASSCE: At least E8 in six (6) subjects, three (3) core subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.

Five (5) passes in O’ Level, /GBCE including English Language and Mathematics.

Applicant should note that other equivalent certificate or exam results approved by GTEC will be accepted
